Pam’s knowledge and longevity in the title industry are well known as she has experienced many real estate cycles. Her clients choose her because she is versed in all types of transactions from resales, to refinances, to exchanges and commercial deals. She is known to work through the most difficult of transactions to come to a workable resolution for all parties.

 
What did you do prior to escrow/title? Registered nurse in the military in post Vietnam Medical Facility.

What motivates you? Waking up every morning with my family around me. Know that I am working in the job that I love, people who I care about, and living on the greatest place on Earth.

Noreen has worked in the escrow/title industry for a total of 32 years. She is one of 3 of the original 5 employees to open up the first branch of FNF in Kahului back in 1998. To her clients, she is known to be on top of her files - willing to do whatever it takes to ensure a smooth transaction for all parties to the transaction.

 
What did you do prior to escrow/title? Worked at Dairy Queen, Kutsunai Photo Studio, San Francisco Rag Shop.

What’s your favorite SPORTS team? San Diego Chargers

What motivates you? My two kids.

Share something about yourself no one knows but would find interesting... In my late 20’s, I made 3 goals for myself: 1) Get a bamboo Hawaiian bracelet 2) Buy a Suburban 3) Own my own home. 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.

My clients and the principals of transactions are very important to me. I'm known for the personalized service I provide. Whether it is their first home or one of many investment properties, these transactions can be stressful. I believe part of my role is to help mitigate this by responding quickly, and by taking the time to listen to their concerns and explain the process.

 
What did you do prior to escrow/title? Prior to escrow, I worked for 9 years as the Executive Assistant for the Principal Broker/Owner of the top producing, independent real estate firm on West Maui. Before that, I worked in the hospitality industry, as a front desk agent.

Where is your favorite place on Earth? Swimming up the river to the waterfall at the top of the Bamboo Hike

What’s your favorite SPORTS team? I only watch sports under duress.

What motivates you? I'm highly motivated by grilled cheese sandwiches. That aside, working with a great team to create an excellent experience for our clients. Knowing I'm providing an invaluable service to my clients in acting as their guide through a transaction they may participate in only a few times in their life.

What did you do prior to escrow/title? Was attending MCC and working at Liberty House as a sales person in the men's department at their Kihei location.

Where is your favorite place on Earth? My favorite place on earth would be wherever my family is, both the 2 legged and 4 legged kind.

What’s your favorite SPORTS team? Not a big sports watcher these days. My favorite sport to watch is basketball. No favorite team these days. But my all-time favorite player is Charles Barkley, retired Phoenix Suns player.

What motivates you? I'm driven by challenges, keeps my mind going and gives me the opportunity to constantly learn and grow.

What motivates you? Being able to provide the best customer service to my realtor clients, buyers and sellers, regardless of the sales price, be it a timeshare or a luxury house on the hillside.

Share something about yourself no one knows but would find interesting... I was born on the Island of Oahu and have a twin sister. I come from a family of 7 children with my twin and I being the oldest. My Father was a career navy man and during the Vietnam War, the Navy moved us to Oregon which was the first time I saw snow. I was 12. The Navy then packed up our family of 9 and moved us to a secluded base in the West Indies on the Island of Antigua. I had to complete three of my high school years thru home schooling. My Dad retired and the Navy moved us all back to Oahu.

What did you do prior to escrow/title? Before I worked in the escrow industry I worked for Mikawaya, a manju store well known for their mochi ice cream.

Where is your favorite place on Earth? My favorite place is wherever I am having fun and being happy with my family and friends.

What’s your favorite SPORTS team? Los Angeles Dodgers! GO BLUE!

What motivates you? I have always been motivated by challenging myself to exceed expectations and providing customer satisfaction.

Share something about yourself no one knows but would find interesting... I used to do Kendo, a Japanese form of fencing with two-handed bamboo swords, originally developed as a safe form of sword training for samurai.

Reta Chin Chiarella

Reta’s experience in the escrow/title/real estate industry dates back to 1990. She is one of 3 of the original 5 employees to open up the first branch of FNF in Kahului back in 1998. To her customers, Reta is known to work very hard, always moving forward in creating innovative educational reports/events that support customers, and responding quickly to customer needs. Throughout her career, she has won many Sales awards and in her prior position at a local based national title company, she was recognized with the highest Sales Award, based on production and customer service.

 
What did you do prior to escrow/title? Lived in Hong Kong and Taiwan teaching English and then was part the original crew of waitresses to open Hard Rock Café in Lahaina, Maui back in July,1990.

Where is your favorite place on Earth? Wherever my family is all together!

What’s your favorite SPORTS team? Anything New England, baby.

What motivates you? An inner drive to excel, to be the best I can be and to finish well with anything that is before me.

Share something about yourself no one knows but would find interesting... I have a very tender, emotional side. I am so moved when people face challenging circumstances and they find ways to overcome them. It would surprise most people to know that I cry watching shows like Biggest Loser or Shark Tank, etc. I cry when I watch an interview - by an athlete or anyone - when he/she shares a difficult childhood experience, has found the strength to push back the boundaries and then achieves success - in whatever ways success is measured by that person. I love when the human spirit prevails against severe adversity!

Mercy has been in the title industry for 11 years having prior held her real estate license in the State of Hawaii. While at Fidelity, she has received the President’s Club Award, based on sales for several years. She is well loved in the industry and is known to be a ‘techie’, thirsty for anything technology related. Additionally, she is a total team player who thinks outside the box and embraces brainstorming to come up with new, positive ideas that help support customers.

 
What did you do prior to escrow/title? My first grown-up job in sales was working at Budget Rent a Car. Then in 1990 started in the real estate industry working at an appraisal company, thereafter got my real estate license in 1997 before working at Fidelity.

Where is your favorite place on Earth? Besides being at FNF and home on Maui….I love San Francisco!

What’s your favorite SPORTS team? Super Bowl is the only thing I watch!

What motivates you? Brainstorming sessions and being challenged!

Share something about yourself no one knows but would find interesting... I was born in Indonesia and while I can’t speak the language, I can completely understand it! And, on our first date with my now husband, Jorma, we decided to purchase a condo together and we closed a few months later!
